I also use exclusively apple computer equipment and process all images on a calibrated monitor to ensure colour accuracy. All files are backed up daily and always immediately after a shoot. My main server and 'workhorse' is a Dual Quad Core MacPro with 5 large internal harddrives (totalling 5TB's) and 22GB of RAM. This is a serious beast of a machine and can handle extremely large files without issue. I also use a MacBook Pro as my communications and day to day computer.
